Introduction: Shan Xuan, born in November 1965, is an associate professor in the Department of English, School of foreign languages, Chang’an University. She has won the Teaching Excellence Award of Chang’an University for many times. She has been teaching English majors an introduction to Lexicology and Reading for a long time, and has offered Stylistics and Psycholinguistics courses for graduate students. During her term of office, she has published more than ten papers in academic core and important journals, compiled and published four series of College English textbooks, participated in the completion of the national social science research project and undertook the writing of monographs.
